Transfer: Akinsamiro’s Pisa switch falls through amid Bundesliga interest

Date:

Nigeria midfielder, Ebenezer Akinsamiro is set for a return to Serie A champions Inter Milan after his permanent transfer to Pisa fell through, DAILY POST reports.

Akinsamiro impressed during his loan stint with Pisa last season despite the club’s relegation from Serie A.

The 21-year-old registered one assist in 24 league appearances for the Tuscan club.

Pisa was prepared to trigger the €7.5 million purchase option in his contract, but the transfer collapsed during the exchange of documents.

Akinsamiro could now secure a move to the Bundesliga, where he reportedly has several admirers, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

Inter Milan are open to a loan or permanent transfer.
